Volkswagen will Present The Golf GTi Race Car Concept

Manufacturer Volkswagen will launch a concept version of the race car at the annual Golf GTI Worthersee in Austria. concept car was inspired by the seventh generation of the Golf GTI. 

Volkswagen design chief Klaus Bischoff as well as designers call it the Vision GTi. Given quite a lot of changes both outside and inside the car. The car is scheduled annual festival devoted to VW enthusiasts held in Austria. 
 
The interior looks attractive with red accents on the 4 point safety belt. Then to design more simple dashboard and center console features a map of the race track and monitor the position of the other drivers, as well as an electric fire. 


This car uses V6 TSI engine 3,000 cc direct injection, automatic transmission with dual-clutch DSG. The resulting power reaches 503 hp with a maximum speed reaches 300 km / h. Then the control system is equipped with three driving modes, namely Track, Sport, and Street. Acceleration from 0-100 km / h takes only 3.9 seconds, as reported.


On the exterior part, using 20-inch alloy wheels to decorate the legs with a braking system carbon-ceramic discs are specifically designed air vents. While the body design is wider, lower, and shorter than the standard GTI with widebody over-fenders and making it more manly, following the use of a diffuser and splitter on the back and front of the car.
